If it is like the 98 you should have switch on your dash by controls you can shut it off with. It gives you a "power boost" for going up steep hills. I have a 2001 Chevy Tracker, and the power switch is on the console to the left of the shifter. I accidentally bump mine every so often and don't realize it until my engine sounds funny and it feels like there is something wrong with the car. Just flip the switch the other way to take it out of power mode.
There is a green "POWER" light that comes on this 2004 Chevy Tracker. The light simi circular in the lower right corner of dash. There is no mention of any kind of power light in the owners mannual. The local chevy service dept. has no idea?? Can you help me?
10 amp "Mini" blade style on 2001 models.
Check your power steering belt or bearing in power steering pump
Yes it does. I have a 96 geo tracker and it does have power steering.
It is not a "warning" light but an indicator that you have pressed the button near the shifter to put the tranny into tow mode.
fuel gauge, speedomiter on instrument panel doesnt work on car and keeps stalling
it means the internal rubberband needs to be rewound. It means you have accidently hit the power button by the gear shift. Simply switch back to normal (N) and the light will go out.
You will have to remove the gas tank and install a fuel control module. Before you do you need to have someone check for power and especially the ground for the fuel gauge.
i am rather sure that the speaker size in the door of the 99 chevy tracker are 6 3/4 inch or 6 1/2 inch there is a bracket that can be removed from the door to take with you when shopping for them , and i also know that a jensen power plus 652 will fit in it hope that helps soon i will take apart my rear and help with the back ones
could just be the window rubbersareabit dirty or the moter try spraying some wd40 on the moter and rubbers that may free it up abit?
Check for power and ground at the tank. If it is okay then the sending unit is most likely the cause.
Bad fan motor? Check to see if you are getting power to it Bad Switch? Bad fan relay?
