As I hope you know, Russia is by far the largest country in the world, and has territory in both Europe and Asia. European and Asian Russia are separated by the Ural mountains. most of the Russian territory is in Asia, known as Siberia. But because Siberia is difficult to live in, 85% of the Russian population (191 Million) lives in Europe. Moscow is the most populous city in Europe, with a population of 23 Million. Many cities in Siberia were built along the Trans-Siberian-Railroad. Russia borders Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belerus, Poland, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, China, and North Korea.Major Rivers include the Volga (the longest river in Europe), The Ob (which has the largest drainage area in the world, the Lena, and the Amur.
