It's weird. The bolts are tightened to a low torque (the centers less than the outers) and then you tighten in a specified sequence 90 degrees and then another 90 degrees in two separate sequences. PLUS the bolts must be tightened in a particular order or it will warp the head.... center top, center bottom, front top, rear bottom, front bottom rear top.
