This period extends from about 450 to 1066, the year of the Norman-French conquest of England. well, i am about to take English lit and English language GCSE next year. English literature is studying the classics(for example:little women or A Christmas carol) and also shakespear etc. it is basically reading and analyzing books and passages and then begining to understand how to write your own stories or passages. Literature is different to language becasue language is about grammar and spelling and learing acronyms how to remember worlds etc.
