heater hose
It is located at the back of the firewall behind the motor and it run under the distributor into the block. You actually have two hoses back there but it's the one running to the engine block.
it runs from the transmission up along the block on the distributor side then runs across in between the firewall and valve cover then into the fire wall and into the back of the interment cluster
On the block , Rear Passenger Side by Firewall , Left of the Distributor
The engine number is on the engine block below the distributor.
I had to replace my block heater on my 89 Accord and the plug/location for the heater is in behind the distributor. I had to remove the distributor from the engine block and then removed the old block heater. It is an easy do it yourself job but you have to be carefull to reinstall the distributor exactly the same way it came out. .
I don't know if this is true forsure, but I found a wiki answer that said it was behind the distributor cap. Because I bought an 89 accord that the cord is under the hood and it is not plugged into the block. I am having trouble finding it though because I have a feeling I may have to remove the distributor cap to see where the plug goes and install it. I also called the Honda dealer in my area and they said that it is either behind the distributor cap or by the oil filter.
Look on the Firewall side of the engine block, about halfway down. If you do not know what a firewall on a car is....... Take the car to Jiffy Lube
On my 80's Chevy pick-ups they are under the distributor on the back of the block near the firewall.
above oil filter on passenger side of block at rear close to firewall
The oil pressure switch on a 4.3 engine is located on top of engine block, way in back next to the firewall, under the distributor. I would remove the distributor to gain access to it..
Actually the complete distributor will fit from the small block to the big block.
right behind the distributor cap and in front of the firewall if you climb uder and look up you can see it
