work space is visual.Visual is what you see on screen, but you can choose also from different color spaces like RGB,CMYK from Image-Mode.To change working space simply eliminate what you dont need on screen like Color Swatches for example and choose Save work space then give him a name.
Workspace is arrangement of tools and panels necessary for particular task like Photography which contains all panels and tools you will need to work with digital photographs. You can create your own workspace (and delete it). When saving your own workspace you can also save and your own keyboard shortcuts along with panels arrangement and toolbox position.

Workspace is how palette on the right side of screen and tools on the left are displayed, which palette's are available (LAYERS, MASKS, CHANNELS...), position of palettes and tools.

In the top right corner of Photoshop window is workspace switcher. There are already defined workspaces, click on name of workspace eg. Essentials, Basic, Typography... to switch to that workspace or in other words panels arrangement on the right side of screen. Depend on version of Photoshop you will always see at list one workspace name and triangle which when clicked opens menu with other workspace names and options to reset or create new workspace.
By default. If you have changed them, you can reset to default by going to window>workspace>default workspace Alternatively you can arrange them how you like by going to window>arrange>(your choice here)
go into the windows section and under there you see workspaces and from here you can edit your workspace to your own preferences
Find window on your top bar, click on window, then make sure tools has a check mark next to it. Also try: Click on window, roll over workspace, then click default workspace.

All tools like Move tool, Brush tool, Type tool live in Toolbox or tool panel as you say. It is one of most important panels in Photoshop, you can not access tools in Photoshop from any other panel in Photoshop.
I find the easiest way for me is to drag and drop. Open the folder your images are in and drag the images you want to import into the photoshop workspace and drop them. This will not delete, cut or alter the original images.You can either click and drag the image into the Photoshop window, or you can go to File>Open and choose the image you want to insert
How to remove the background of an image in Photoshop ? You can access the Discover Panel in Photoshop using the search icon at the upper right of the app workspace.
Workspace
In Photoshop, open file and go to File > File Info. In adobe Bridge select image then go to File > File Info or choose Metadata workspace. If you have Essentials workspace chosen click on image and take a look at right side of screen on Metadata panel.
