∙ 11y agoThe benefit of the Roman alphabet to the Romans was that it enabled them to write. Writing enabled the recording of things such as amounts of produced goods, transactions, contracts, wills, marriages, laws and the like, and the emergence of literature.
The benefits that of the Latin alphabet after the Romans is that western European languages have adopted and adapted this alphabet.
