Having faith in ONENESS (Tauheed) of Almighty Allah is the basic principle of Islam. There is no god, but ONE Almighty God (Allah). Almighty Allah is the Sole Creator, Sustainer, Cherisher, Provider, and Ruler of all the worlds. HE and HE alone is worthy of worship. He has no Parents, No Off-spring, No Son, No Helper, No Associate whatsoever. Even all the Prophets, all Humans, all Jinnis etc combined together can not move a single leaf or twig of a tree from its place if He does not permit. He enjoys Absolute POWER on all His creatures. He and He alone is the Master of our Destiny (good or bad). We must worship only Him, we must bow only to Him, we must implore and beg only from Him. All our hopes and desires cn be fulfilled only by Him and none else.
If somebody does not have this faith from the heart of his heart, he is NOT a True Muslim. Associating associates to Him is Shirk, an unpardonable sin.
