No, it has a timing belt which must be changed at the 105k/7 year interval. Should cost around $1000 at an Acura dealer.
Every Toyota Corolla manufactured from 1998 to 2012 Model year has the 1ZZ FE 1.8Liter engine with a timing chain, no belt, with the exception of the XRS Trim which had a high performance 1.8liter but still a chain, and Toyota sets no interval for changing it
