The main reason is because the habitat of the King Cobra is being destroyed for products, and the King Cobra is running out of places to live. We get rid of an African Rainforest's worth of trees each year, so the King Cobra is in trouble. The king cobra is in trouble, but is considered "Vulnerable", not endangered.

My opinion is King Cobra will win... Python on average can grow upto 20ft. King cobra on average 15 ft. But before strangling king cobra, python has to survive from the king's bite...It's not easier. It could possibly die, animals must be able to adapt to the habitat in which they live in. If the do not adapt, the could die.
