To quote from the Salem-news.com website dated May 12, 2012:

"The Roman Catholic Church faces permanent disruption and banishment in at least five countries if it does not comply with ten "non-negotiable measures" by September 15, 2012 . . . . ." etc etc.

The link is provided below.

Of course, I'm not sure of the validity of this news piece; nor can we be sure if it will actually happen.

For Jehovah's Witnesses this is quite interesting, since we have been proclaiming in our public ministry that events such as this will happen, not only to one religion; but to all religions we consider as 'false' religion. But be assured; Jehovah's Witnesses are not involved in such matters what-so-ever. Whether this event will even 'trigger' what we have published for decades, remains to be seen. We simply observe 'world developments' regarding religion; while we keep ourselves occupied with our Christ mandated door-step ministry.

What was the first sect that broke off Catholic church?

.Catholic AnswerIn the eleventh century (1054 A.D.), the Eastern Rites of the Catholic Church all split into two. Since that time, there has been two separate "Churches" of most of the eastern Rites, a Uniate Rite, still in union with the Catholic Church, and an Orthodox Church, which is the same Rite, but not in union with Rome. This tragedy has been going on for nearly ten centuries, and is still trying to be repaired. Although various religious reasons are given, the split was mostly due to political reasons.

How will the latest Anglican position on Gays effect the Catholic Church?

It will not, as the position of any church outside of the Catholic Faith does not affect the Church in any way as the Divine Founder, Christ Jesus, set the Doctrines in place and those Doctrines cannot be changed because the times and peoples standards fall below God's expectations. However, more importantly, why should the Anglican position effect the Catholic more than a Lutheran, Baptist, or Jehovah's Witness? What Christ put into effect cannot be changed by man.

Why do unbaptized Catholic go straight to hell according to the latest Catholic church dogma?

Roman Catholic AnswerYou have been seriously misinformed by someone who is wilfully ignorant of what the Church has always taught. The Catholic Church has never, in twenty centuries, said anyone is going to hell. The Catholic Church is the Mystical Body of Christ which exists only out of Christ's love for men and exists to get everyone to heaven. Furthermore, the Church teaches only what Christ taught, and He was extremely loving of little children, but here is the "Official teaching of the Catholic Church" on the subject of unbaptized infants. If you are talking about adults, the only non-baptized adult I know of is a convert on their way to baptism and the Church certainly doesn't condemn them either, instead teaching that the grace in the desire to be baptised provides in that instance. from The Catechism of the Catholic Church, second edition, English translation 19941261 As regard children who have died without Baptism, the Church can only entrust them to the mercy of God, as she does in her funeral rites for them. Indeed the great mercy of God who desires that all men should be saved, and Jesus' tenderness toward children which caused him to say: "Let the children come to me, do not hinder them," (Mk 10:14; cf. 1 Tim 2:4) allow us to hope that here is a way of salvation for children who have died without Baptism. Al the more urgent is the church's call not to prevent little children coming to Christ through the gift of Holy Baptism.

When did catholocism begin?

The earliest use of the word "Catholic" for the Church comes from St Ignatius of Antioch, one of the disciples of the Apostle John. He wrote the following in about 107 AD:Wherever the bishop appears, there let the people be; as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church. It is not lawful to baptize or give communion without the consent of the bishop. On the other hand, whatever has his approval is pleasing to God. Thus, whatever is done will be safe and valid.- Letter to the Smyrnaeans 8, J.R. Willis translation
