The law requires odometer statements showing the mileage when YOU buy it to be true, false or maybe.. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR LIQUIDATION: Title, lien satisfied, affidavit of repossession, bill of sale, current registration card and smog certificate. PLATES: Remain with the vehicle. IF you dont get all the right paperwork, DONT BUY IT.

The car isn't damaged, the debtor's credit rating is. There is no permanent record of the car as a repossessed vehicle like there is for a salvaged title.

According to the California Motorcycle Handbook a "motor-driven" cycle is a motorcycle with an engine displacement less than 150cc. Motor-driven cycles cannot be operated on a freeway. Motorcycles above the 150cc size are motorcycles as opposed to "motor-driven cycles" and can be operated on CA freeways.
