Do you mean his HEIGHT, or how long he can be in office?!

If the former, I've no idea how tall the current Prime Minister David Cameron is, but if you're asking how long they can remain in office, then there's no fixed term. Unlike the US President, there's no limit to the amount of time a British Premier can stay in office- elections have to be held every five years (although they CAN be held after four if the governing Party thinks it's got a good chance of getting re-elected then), but the PM can stay on for as long as their health allows and for as long as they have the support both of their Party and the electorate.

In the UK, the Prime Minister has no term limits. He is appointed by the Monarch and remains in office so long as he/she can command the confidence of the House of Commons, which in practice equals being the leader of the party with the most seats in Parliament.

Parliament has to be elected every five years at a maximum. Elections often take place more frequently, most usually every four years.

A general election is legally obliged to take place in the UK this year (2010).

A term of Government in the United Kingdom last 5 years. However there are no term limits on running for the Office of First Lord of the Treasury (The Prime Minister) in the UK. So a person could serve any number of terms or years as Prime Minister so long as their political party supported them and the people elected them to Government in National General Elections.

As a result of the Fixed-Term Parliament Act of 2011, a parliamentary session is fixed at a 5 year period. This means that most Prime Ministers will last for 5 years, although internal leadership battles could mean that Prime Ministers are ousted by their own party, only to be replaced by another leader, during that term.

It depends on the country, they are usually 4 - 6 year terms of government.

The prime minister does not have a fixed term of office in the UK.
