The liquid in all wet cell batteries is called Electrolyte. It is a mixture of 65% distilled water and 35% Sulfuric acid. It is very corrosive to anything it contacts.

i don't think so because they will only be in their defensive mode . if we stamp them liquid comes out of their bodies which mean they are dead so its a no for me . they cant play dead

They're inorganic. The crystals 'grow' by molecules of the same substance in the surrounding liquid sticking to the 'seed' crystal.
