Throttle Position Sensor, or TPS is attached to the throttle body. it looks like a little black box with a plug and two small bolts.

Assuming you mean the throttle position sensor (TPS), it would be found attached to the throttle body.

The TPS (throttle position sensor) would be found on the throttle body, opposite side the throttle cable is attached to.

If it is similar to the 2002, and I believe they are, It is permanently attached to the throttle body. To replace the sensor, you have to replace the whole throttle body.
In most cases the TPS (throttle positon sensor) is located at one end of the throttle plate shaft. The throttle cable/linkage is attached on one side of the throttle plate shaft and the tps is attached to the other side.
Look for a black plastic sensor attached to the throttle body. Expect it to be black in color and directly opposite the throttle cam (where the throttle cable attaches.)
