Pan-American The Pan-American Highway is considered the longest highway in the world. It stretches from Alaska to Argentina and Chile and covers 48,000 miles. Some parts are barely passable during wet season, as it crosses multiple different countries and climates. I'm quite sure that trans-Canada is the longest highway yet!
