There are two primary bronchi which are the first divisions branching off from the trachea to take air into the lungs. The primary bronchi then subdivide into lobar bronchi and then again into tertiary bronchi which continue to divide until they are tiny bronchioles which supply each of the alveoli in the lungs.
The left primary bronchus leads to the left lung and the right primary bronchus leads into the right lung. The bronchi contain rings of hyaline cartilage which help to provide flexible support to the airways.
The main function of the bronchi is to allow humans to breathe. The bronchi morph into tiny air sacs where the oxygen and carbon dioxide exchange in the respiratory system.
Main bronchi and brochioles provide air to the lung. They carry both oxygen and co2.
the bronchioles are a part of bronchus and hence has the same function- i.e. to transport air from the nostrils(buccal cavity) to the lungs and vice-versa...
bronchioles are the terminals of bronchi, gas exchange happens in the alveoli at their ends.
The d
Bronchioles are the small branches coming off the bronchi going to avioles which is blood like leaders
The bronchioles are divided into three types, each becoming progressively smaller. Terminal bronchioles are the second type and the final airways in the conduction zone. All bronchioles control the amount of air distributed through the lung by constricting and dilating.
the lungs. in the lungs there is are cool little things called bronchioles and in these bronchioles there are many hundreds of smaller things called alveoli.
1) Bronchioles 2) Alveoli
it is bronchioles
The respiratory looks like an upside down tree, from the trunk to the branches and to fruit (such as an apple). From largest to smallest, the respiratory system consists of the throat to main bronchi, to bronchioles, to terminal bronchioles, to alveolar ducts, to alveolar sacs (aveoli look like tiny grapes).
The bronchioles connect to one or the other of the bronchi, the two main branches of the trachea, which lead directly to the lungs. Singular of "bronchi" is "bronchus".
The main branches from the trachea are the bronchi (bronchus is a singular one). These also lead to bronchioles, which lead to aveoli in the lungs.
There are the bronchi and bronchioles
description of the bronchioles
The airway of the respiratory system is mainly to do with the trachea, bronchi, bronchioles and the alveoli duct. Trachea composes of Pseudostratified columnar, ciliated epithelium, Goblet cells, Sero-mucous glands and Cartilage rings. Its main function is to allow air to pass and reach the bronchioles and to trap dust by the presence of the cilia lining its epithelium membrane. The bronchi is composed of Pseudostratified columnar, ciliated epithelium (shorter), Goblet cells (fewer), Sero-mucous glands, Cartilage, Smooth muscle. main function is to bring air into the lungs because their walls are too thick to permit gass exchange. The bronchioles is made up of Simple columnar or cuboidal & ciliated epithelium,No goblet cells,Smooth muscle (relatively abundant), Clara cells is to permit the movement of gas int the alveoli duct in-order for gaseous exchange to take place.
