The main idea of The Language of Horses by Monty Roberts is that horses speak with body language and it is our tasks to learn their language so we can communicate effectively with them, not the other way around.

Yes, apple seeds are poisonus to horses.
Horses are herd animals, and crave attention and affection. The best way to achieve this is to make the horse WANT to be with you. This can be through spending time with your horse in the paddock, feeding it (healthy) treats, and creating a bond with him/her. Join-Up is also effective. The idea was popularised by Monty Roberts, and the basic idea is to drive your horse away, and keep it moving until i t ásks'to come in, to be part of your herd. Sign's that your horse wants to come in include; first, turning an ear towards you (in the centre of the circle) and fixing it on you, lowering its head, and making chewing motions with it's lips. I advise, before attempting join-up, you look into it further by visiting Roberts' site, www.montyroberts.com Hope this helps
