Do you have to pull dash to replace heater core on a 1987 grand marquis?

The good folks at Chilton say no you remove the plenum from under the dash and then remove the heater core from the plenum. You may want to get the book for this one as they're are about twenty steps (many things to remove) before the plenum will come out. Good luck.

How do you remove the dash from a 1998 Lincoln Navigator to replace the heater core?

You do not have to remove the dash. You do however have to remove enough of the ductwork to allow access to the heater core. This is almost never an easy job and as I have not replaced one on a Navigator, I cannot tell you exactly what to remove. Just remove what is necessary to get to the core. This is why the Pros charge so much to replace a heater core. Just remember exactly how the parts cam off and how they go back on. Good Luck.

How do you replace the heater core in a 1992 Corsica?

to replace a heater core first drained cooling system. then disconnect heater hoses located on firewall at back of engine compartment. then go inside vehicle. if you have a console you will want to remove it for easier replace of core. then take off heater core cover, this is located behind heater controls, but just a little lower. there will be 6 or 8 7 mm head screws to remove. the cover is also sealed so it will take a little effort to remove. finally remove the retainer bands from core to remove. that should it. good luck!!!

Where is the heater core on a 91 skylark how hard is it to change Car has ac?

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Drain the engine coolant into a clean container for reuse. Raise and safely support the vehicle. Remove the rear lateral transaxle strut mount, if necessary. Remove the drain tube and disconnect the heater hoses from the core tubes, lower the vehicle. Remove the sound insulators, console extensions and/or steering column filler, as required. remove the floor console outlet ductwork and hoses. remove the heater core cover. Remove the heater core mounting clamps and remove the heater core. This information was taken from chiltons auto repair manual. So good luck and hope it works out

Where is the core in an apple?

The no core theory was popularized by a 2013 video by Foodbeast in which an apple was eaten whole—seeds and all—from the bottom up, eliminating the “core” entirely. Some oppose this apple eating method based on safety concerns, as apple seeds contain amygdalin, which releases cyanide when digested. However, you’d have to eat roughly 18 apples (including seeds) to even get close to a lethal dose. So, you can safely eat through an entire apple. With that established, the confusion then lies in what constitutes the actual core. By one definition, the core is just the thin, fibrous band that runs through the center of an apple, containing the seeds and attaching to the stem. However, The Atlantic argues that the “core” is actually what we choose to leave behind after consumption, which varies from person to person, and eating the apple in its entirety prevents the core from ever existing. They also state that most of us waste up to 30 percent of perfectly good fruit as a result of avoiding the core. One study suggests that the core and seeds actually contain the highest concentration of healthy bacteria, and researchers encouraged people to consume the entire apple to get the most nutritional benefit.
