Harddrive
There are many differences between desktops and laptops. Laptops are smaller and lighter and therefore can be moved around easily for convenience. Desktops, on the other hand, are sturdier as they are bigger and are probably a safer option for people who are prone to accidents.
SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) is the most commonly used storage interface for enterprise servers.
PATA (Parallel Advanced Technology Attachment
The only difference is what you can connect it to, pen/thumb drives are for USB on desktops/laptops, and SD cards are usually for portables like mobile phones and digital cameras.

* Physical size (typically 2.5in. for laptops, 3.5in. for desktops) * Interface type: PATA/IDE, SATA, SCSI * Storage space, e.g., 500GB, 1TB, etc. * RPM, seek, latency and buffer size specs That's off the top of my head; I think that's all the major items.
False; For desktop is 3.5". For laptops 1.8" (It's not common) and 2.5"
Client servers are really only limited by the constraints of what the operating system can cope with. Many modern file-servers have hard drive capacities running to many terabytes of storage.
A server is not a personal computer but a centralized system for data storage. A personal computer is usually one hard drive and a monitor.
This is dependent on the size of the hard drive(s) located in the server or array of servers. Many larger servers have almost 10 PB of storage. There's no theoretical limit; the major blockers are price and the physical space needed for all the necessary drives.
It depends on what the manufacturer put in and if any was added by the buyer. The technical term for memory is RAM (Random Access Memory) You'll have to check the specs to see which computer has more. Popular stock RAM sizes are 512MB and 1GB of RAM. In general, desktops have the capacity to hold more RAM than laptops. Some laptops now hold up to 4GB of RAM, but you'll likely have to buy extra RAM to max it out. Some desktops now how up to 16GB of RAM. Ram is particularly important in Video and Sound editing. If you're simply needing to run Microsoft Office and surf the web, then a laptop with 1GB of RAM is probably all you'll need.
yes the hard drive is storage
