The security code is unique to each car. If battery power is lost to the radio, it "locks" to deter theives from taking it. Part of the predelivery process is supposed to include placing a sticker with the code number on it on the side of the glovebox, so first look there. If you don't find it there, turn the key on and the radio off. Then hold the #1 and #6 preset buttons at the same time while turning the radio on. On some Honda's this will cause the 8 digit radio serial number to appear on the screen...first a "U" followed by 4 digits, then an "L" followed by 4 digits. Take this number, as well as your car's VIN number to your local dealer and they can look up the code for you. If you can't get the serial number this way, you will have to remove the radio to get it. Once you have the code, enter the numbers using the station preset buttons. If you enter it correctly, the radio will return to normal.
