According to the definition by IUPAC, the mass of a mold of carbon-12 isotope is exactly 12.0000 g.
The atomic mass number of that isotope. So C14 has a molecular mass of 14 grams/mole U238, 238 grams/mole
1 mole of He-4 isotope weight about 4 g So 1.5 mole of He-4 isotope weight about 6 g
All atomic masses are determined by comparing them to the mass of an atom of carbon12. One atomic mass unit equals one twelfth the mass of an atom of carbon12. That's why its called relativeatomic mass.
Chromium is a meta element. Atomic mass of it is 52.
The atomic mass, in grams, is the mass of one mole of atoms.
The atomic mass number of that isotope. So C14 has a molecular mass of 14 grams/mole U238, 238 grams/mole
6.023 x 1023
1 mole of He-4 isotope weight about 4 g So 1.5 mole of He-4 isotope weight about 6 g
For the isotope actinium-227 the mass is 227,027 752 1(26) g.

The 12 in Carbon-12 designates the isotope which has an atomic mass of 12. This is the most abundant isotope of carbon. Carbon has an atomic number of 6, therefore it has 6 protons. Carbon 12, therefore has 6 neutrons. Carbon 14 is another isotope of carbon, still having 6 protons, but has 8 neutrons, so it has an atomic mass of (6 + 8 = 14). If the atomic mass of a carbon is 12 amu, 1 mole of pure carbon will have a mass of 12 g. (that's the way an a.m.u. is defined: 1 a.m.u. = 1/12th of the mass of C-12 isotope atom)
the mass of carbon-12 atom in mole is 12 only...
The atomic number is 19 and the mass number of its most abundant isotope K-39 is 39 (19 protons + 20 neutrons) while the mass of that isotope is 38.96371 a.m.u.The relative atomic mass of the element potassium, K, is 39.10 g/mole.
One twelfth (1/12) the mass of a carbon-12 atom is one atomic mass unit (amu, or just u).
