It depends on the CPU of the PDA computer. They can be as fast as other computers these days and have multiple cores. The line between PDAs, tablets and phones has also become blurred with the only difference being that a smart phone can be used to place calls.

I would say most have a 2Ghz CPU but that can really differ. Anything faster than 4Ghz will usually run into heat issues, that's why CPUs haven't gotten any faster than that for years. But seriously there is no (physical) maximum if you can manage the temperature.

If you are shopping for PDAs and want to buy the fasted one on the market right now, Google and Bing are your best friends.
