42 is not actually the answer to "what is the meaning of life?"

It is the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything (i.e. universal existence), but the question itself was somehow misplaced. Later, it is suggested to have been "What do you get if you multiply six by nine?" (which of course does not equate)

*From the series "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"(1979), by Douglas Adams.

According to Douglas Adams, the meaning of life is humorously portrayed as the number 42 in his book "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." This concept highlights the idea that humans tend to search for deep meaning and significance in life, even though the answers may be elusive or nonsensical. Adams used humor and satire to explore existential questions about the purpose of life.
