The bar at the bottom of the Desktop is called the Dock. (See links below)
Windows: It is the large bar on the bottom that has all the icons. The browser also refers to the menu that appears when the Microsoft logo in the bottom left is selected. Mac:
There is no Apple menu. The home screen has a link to Settings, where you can change all the things the OSX Apple menu does.
The Apple Menu is located in the settings on the iPad. The iTunes store can be found in the preloaded apps.

pull up task manager and type in explorer.exe
you push on the bottom button of the i touch and it will change to the main menu.
