That metal box is a gyro that tells the computer when to deploy the airbags
it is inside the thermostat housing, which is where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine. the metal that the hose clamps to is the housing.
its just in front, the small insulated metal hose, but you need a fit adapter for that, you can get those in any autoparts
on the front side of the handle there is a small slot. there is a metal staple in there you need to remove. Then you can pull the handle/knob straight up & off.
behind the passenger side headlight, under the diagonal brace, you will see 3 black relays in a row attached to a black metal bracket. going from passenger to dirver, they are the fuel pump relay, the rad fan relay, and the AC relay.
Check on driver or passenger side of the radiator, on the side next to the motor. Should be a small metal plug.
on a 3.4L V6 it is located within the housing which is in the metal part where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine. there are two bolts holding it in that are extremely hard to get to. you must remove the intake, throttle body, and exhaust heat shield just to get to it. i changed it myself and saved $400 in labor. (it took me 2 days)
The 02 sensor is located on the passenger side closest to the front passenger door and is mounted inside a metal housing. The sensor is screwed in from the passenger side.

there is a metal u shaped clip pushed in the shifter handle on the front side of handle facing radio/dash.putting car in lowest gear with brake on makes easy to pull out with flat screwdriver.handle lifts off.
