The method of energy transformation of thermonuclear plants begins with nuclear fission. The nuclear energy is then transformed to thermal energy. This energy is used to boil water which creates steam that spins a turbine. This turbine creates mechanical energy which when coupled with a generator creates electromagnetic energy, or electricity.

How do plants get gas?

plants get there energy from sun

What is energy transformation occur in a photosynthesis?

I'm no expert but thinking back to my high school science courses I believe that light is changed to oyxgen during the photosynthesis process in plants.

How do plants and animals get their energy in different ways-?

Plants get their energy through photosynthesis, and animals get their energy by consuming plants or other animals.

From where do green plants get energy?

The energy for photoshythesis in plants come from the sun.

What is the energy pathway in the biosphere?

Energy flowing through a system has to come from somewhere and has to go somewhere because there are two laws of Physics that apply.Energy can nether be created nor destroyed only changed - transformed.Any time you make an energy transformation, some of the starting energy is going to be lost as heat.In the Biosphere the source of energy is the Sun, sunlight. This is trapped and stored by plants (producers). As plants use this energy to live and grow, they give of heat (as per law 2) so the Sun's energy is transformed. Then along come animals that eat plants and steal the plant's food stores, these animals have to be more active than plants so, as they live and move, these too give of heat. More of the Sun's original energy is lost (as per law 2).The plant eaters are then predated by carnivores, the carnivores steal the herbivore's food stores and use it to live and move and these too give off heat. More of the Sun's original energy is lost (as per law 2).Thus you can see that the process of life can be looked at as a flow of energy from organism to organism with this energy gradually being lost (into space) as heat. High quality energy (visible light) straight from the Sun is transformed into low quality energy (heat) by living things. The second law means that you can not turn low quality energy into high quality energy and this make the path of energy transformation uni-directional.

What are thermonuclear plants?

Thermonuclear plants are power stations. They use nuclear fission reactions to generate heat. This boils water to generate steam, which turns the turbines to generate electricity.

What is the name for the biochemical reaction that is the original source of energy for almost all ecosystem?

Photosynthesis - the capture of light energy by plants and its transformation into chemical energy.

In hydroelectric power plants the energy from moving water is converted into electric power. What kind of energy transformation occurs when the energy is converted?

mechanical to electrical

What is the method used to produce nuclear energy in power plants?

nuclear fission

What energy transformation occurs in green plants during photosyntesis?

The Light energy is transformed into chemical energy which gets stored in the chemical bonds of energy rich compound glucose that is formed as a result of photosynthesis

Why transformation of energy is required?

We don't always need the energy in the form in which it appears. For example, we humans can't directly use solar energy. Not even the plants use it directly - they need to transform it first.

What energy transformation is it when sunlight shines on a tree?

The sun gives off light and thermal energy. When the light hits the leaves of the tree, the leaves undergo photosynthesis.

What pigments do plants use to carry out photosynthesis and what do these pigments do specifically for the process?

Chlorophyll a & b, caroten and xanthophyll are photosynthetic pigments used by plants. These pigments capture various wavelengths of solar radiation for energy transformation.

What is the energy transformation to produce electricity using geothermal?

Geothermal energy plants use the natural heat (which is thermal energy) of the earth. Water turned into steam is used to turn steam turbines. This is a conversion of the thermal energy into mechanical energy. The mechanical energy of the turbine is coupled to a generator, and is converted there into electricity, which is electromagnetic energy.
