There is no requirement for SAT scores or GPA, believe me! I know several people with scores lower than the 2160 cited below who got in. Ditto the 3.8 GPA. Just do your best and give it a shot...you never know!

You need to take either the new SAT I + 2 SAT II Subject Tests, or the ACT with writing. If you're asking about minimum scores, they don't exist. Most kids who get in have scores in the 700s in each section, but there are plenty who have lower scores who are still accepted.

Yale University is an Ivy League school, meaning very selective, they only accept 9% of all applicants. The mean SAT scores of the middle 50% of first year students are as follows, Critical Reading: 700-800
Mathematics: 700-780
Writing: 700-790
The ACT also,
Middle 50%: 30-34

As well as near-perfect SAT and ACT scores, they also require SAT II or AP scores, and well as a good GPA. They look highly on extra-curriculars as well! More info at:
