model 158 12 gauge shotgun
My dad and I bought a Stevens Mod. 940 single shot 16 gauge at a hardware store in 1950. model # 940
Your Stevens model 77C was made from 1955-1971.
The Stevens model 58 was made between 1933-1945.
I'd bet that is 311A instead of 3114. Savage/Stevens re-named the Model 5100 as the 311 series about 1942 and discontinued the Springfield name in 1948. Depending on condition, it should be worth between $150 and $250.
I've got a Springfield 12 gauge double in for repair and it appears to be from studying the Jack Frost catalog to be a Stevens 315. Go to e-gunspart.com and they have a schematic listed for $.99.
to test it take apart a 410 slug and see if it fits through
Your stevens model 9478 was made by savage/stevens between the years 1978-1985.
Just another model in the Stevens line.
