It most certainly is! Tire pressure gauges are a cheap way to monitor a car's tire pressure.
electronic vacuum gauge
digital micron gauge
Both units are based on the imperial Pounds per Square Inch (PSI). The suffix A refers to Absolute pressure, while G refers to Gauge pressure. Gauge pressure is defined as the difference between the measured pressure and atmospheric pressure. Most pressure measuring devices (gauges) measure the gauge pressure, as one side of the gauge is exposed to atmospheric pressure.
Most oil pressure gauges operate by a varying voltage. The oil pressure changes the resistance in the oil sensor, causing the gauge to change readings.
These will be the coolant temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge, and battery voltage gauge.
Its high temperature and low pressure
The Deadweight Gauge is the most accurate instrument available for the pressure measurement. Repeatable readings with accuracies of 0.1%. 0.05% and 0.02% of measured pressure are obtainable. The device does not require recalibration unless the components have excessive wear of weights. It can be easily transported and set up in the field, requires minimum maintenance and is simple to operate.
The voltage gauge on the Blazer is not the most accurate (cheap) When using the signals the voltage draw on the system is enough to make the gauge move slightly.
Most likely the problem is with the Pressure Sensor in the engine block.
most likely a sending unit problem
Called an "oil pressure sender", it's most usually close to the oil filter.
