Answer: Riverside. According to the 2002 book, "The Top 10 of Everything," Fairview is the most common city name. Usually when this is said, whatever source was used (like Wikipedia) includes Census-designated places. These places aren't real cities. They don't have their own governments or anything. Riverside is the city that appears the most. It's in all but 4 states (Hawaii, Alaska, Oklahoma, and Louisiana). Riverside, CA may be the most popular or most well-known because it is where Google and Yahoo maps will direct you if you type the city name in the search bar. If you want to know what city name takes places the most, including multiple times within a state, I cannot help you.

ANSWERIts gotta be springfield. The Simpsons picked Springfield to be common so no one would guess what state they live in. NO!I know that there are 49 of the 50 states that have a town called Lexingto
