There are many treatment options for carpet bugs but the most effective treatments would depend on what kind of bugs are infesting a persons carpet. Some commonly used treatments for a wide variety of carpet bugs would be sprayed pesticides and fog treatments also preventing stains and keeping the carpet clean would also help.

∙ 10y agoThe best treatment is actually to dry bedding at very high temperatures. This will help eliminate the problem, also by putting a barrier between the mattress and the bedding. If one insists on using chemicals then be sure the treatment kills not only live bed bugs but eggs as well.
