The Brazos River in Texas actually has two mouths; one is located at Bryan Beach a few miles south of the town of Quintana, Texas near the city of Freeport, Texas. The other is a dredged channel that serves as the Port Of Freeport and enters the Gulf of Mexico at Quintana Beach Park in Quintana, Texas. The two mouths are around three miles apart. Both are man-made channels with the natural mouths lost due to development of the Port of Freeport.
