the suffering, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus is called
The Paschal mystery
no
In the earliest manuscripts of Mark's Gospel, there was no mention of any appearances of the resurrected Jesus. The Gospel finished at verse 16:8, with the women fleeing in fear and telling no one that the tomb was empty. What is called the "Long Ending" (there was also a "Short Ending") was added much later by an interpolator.Scholars now know that the authors of the other New Testament gospels relied on Mark's Gospel for everything they knew about the life and mission of Jesus. Yet each one described the risen Jesus as meeting the disciples at different times and places, with remarkably little consistency. It strains belief that evangelists knew nothing about the life of Jesus before his resurrection, copying what the knew from Mark, yet could tell us in detail about the resurrected Jesus. And it strains belief even more, that each account differs fundamentally from the others, yet all are true.People who do not believe in the resurrection of Jesus do so because there is no credible evidence that it really happened.
A: The purpose of Early Christian Art is the same as Christian Art today: to glorify God, celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and spread His word.
The last meal Jesus spent with his Apostles is called the Last Supper, consisting of only bread and wine. Jesus said a blessing, saying that the bread was the bread of life, and the wine was Jesus' blood. If you go to a Catholic mass, there will be something called a communion, where you take the blessed bread and wine and drink it.
"The Last Supper" is a proper title in English for the event where Jesus celebrated the Pasch and inaugurated the New Law in the presence of his disciples on the eve of His death. Other Catholic titles for this event include "The Lord's Supper" "Cena Domini" "The First Mass" "Holy Thursday"

A mystery
Jesus was spotted the very day of His resurrection.
The four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) focus on the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus by detailing the events leading up to his crucifixion, the crucifixion itself, and his subsequent resurrection. They highlight Jesus' teachings on the significance of his sacrificial death and resurrection for the redemption of humanity, emphasizing the fulfillment of prophecies and the establishment of a new covenant with God. The narratives underscore the theological importance of Jesus' suffering, death, and resurrection as central to Christian faith and salvation.
What Is It Called When We Are United To Jesus' Paschal Mystery
Jesus said I am the life and the resurrection.
Most all humans would find no mystery in suffering and death. In that Jesus was resurrected, should not have been or be a mystery as He proved His power given by God with raising Lazarus from the dead. His only proof of His Messiaship given was that of Jonah in the belly (sybolizes death) of the great fish (the grave) for 3 days and nights. God raised Him and accepted His sacrifice for all mankind - our Wafe Sheat Offering approved. Yet for many with no faith or weak faith, the resurrection is indeed a mystery as it does not fit into the laws of science - paranormal science perhaps. Some Christian sects call this the Paschal mystery.
