The uterus
The reproduction system in humans uses a sperm from the male and an egg from the woman. Once the egg is fertilized it grows into a baby that is born. Human babies are not hatched from eggs.
It is necessary for an egg to be fertilized so the egg can hatch.
A fertilized egg cell is when a sperm enters an egg. The result is a fertilized egg cell, or a zygote.
