Being unused to this site, I have had to add additional information here. I had this book as a child and I cannot for the life of me find my copy, nor remember the name or the author(s). It was about a foot long, and maybe 7 inches high, and quite thick, with a large collection of stories inside. I can remember quite a few, the most vivid being a story about a collection of monsters that go to a party, but the punch gets spiked and all the monsters lose their colour. Then, after realising his mistake, the monster apologisesd and everyone turns back to normal.
There are other stories such as the dragon who couldn't fly, along with a story about a giant fruit and vegetable competition where a farmer uses a magical potion to make his pumpkins grow. There was another story about a girl who climbs through a painting in her bedroom to find a group of monsters in the forets and she plays competitions with them.
I have tried to look in a variety of places, and so far haven't found anything concrete, or even close, obviously a lot of these stories would be quite common, so finding the book has been quite unyielding so far. If anyone knows of the book or authors then any hints or help would be much appreciates. Many thanks
