Try typing stuff like mosquito or fly noises
Check under your car... you may have lost a muffler.
We would need to know where the noise was coming from and under what conditions it made the noise in order to make an assessment.
What makes it like that is because the air under there arm the wings move really fast so the noise is made like that
There is a problem with wiper transmission which is what moves the arms & is under the cowl.
A glazed belt can make that noise. Try rubbing a bar of soap on the belts and start it up. If the noise goes away temporarily, replace the belts.

If by motor you mean the engine. If the car is running and it's not making much noise turn in the a/c in the car and if the noise gets worse I would replace your air conditioning pp

Hello, my suggestion would be just opening the hood when the noise goes on. Try to locate where the noise comes from. I have similar problem with my Taurus 2000 SE. It occasionally makes the noise somewhere under the hood. I sent the car to pep boys today. they were not able to locate the noise because it was quiet . so i have to wait until the noise goes up again and open the hood and see.
Sounds like one of the fan blades are loose, or bent or out of balance. By saying whopping noise points to a problem with uneven air currents. Almost like a ceiling fan noise would make under these circumstances..... Tom
The sway bar end links could be damaged on a vehicle that is making that noise. Also, check the dust shields on the front brake assembly.Ê
