There are a number of unique or endangered species in El Yunque including the Puerto Rican Parrot. There are tree ferns, palm trees, and other vegetation, natural waterfalls and pools, and numerous coquis, and other native animals. It is a beautiful place but very hot and humid, which I guess is why it is a tropical rainforest.
