The radiator cap controls cooling system pressure. The radiator cap controls cooling system pressure.
Radiator Cap?
Locate a small wing nut looking valve on the bottom driver side of the radiator there should also be a small hose that runs from the valve up to a clip on the side of the radiator this is the drain hose Locate a small wing nut looking valve on the bottom driver side of the radiator there should also be a small hose that runs from the valve up to a clip on the side of the radiator this is the drain hose then what
The radiator drain is on the bottom of the radiator. It is a small petcock valve.
The low pressure valve for the refrigerant is different depending on if you have rear AC or not. With Rear A/C: The High pressure valve is located just to the left of the radiator cap. The Low pressure valve is located on the dryer (the large silver can) right beside the radiator cap. Without Rear A/C: The high pressure valve is located just to the left of the radiator cap. The low pressure valve is located in the line between the compressor and the dryer, against the firewall, above the motor (it is hard to see and access). ***WARNING*** Overcharging your system could result in an explosion.
sounds like pressure relief valve if replacing the valve doesn't stop the leaking you may have to much pressure in your cooling system mainly a Head Gasket leak.
There should be a small valve at the bottom of the rad.
It's a valve that opens or closes flow through a radiator
Ensure that the engine is cold so that no back pressure is in the system. Remove the radiator cap and then locate the butterfly valve which is under the radiator. Place a pan under the radiator and open the valve. When the radiator is drained, close the valve and pour in fresh antifreeze, then recap. These are generic instructions which apply to pretty well any vehicle.
Behind the radiator, under the air intake!
Margin pressure is a term used in Closed Center, Load Sense type systems in hydraulics. The term refers to the pressure difference between the pump outlet(valve inlet) and the valve tank pressure). The margin pressure is the way the valve signal to the pump it's status.
