The vacuum lines on a 2000 Chevy Silverado run between the intake manifold and multiple valves across the top of the engine. The vacuum pressure is generated by the engine's compression.
60 to 66 psi
Key on Engine not running 55 - 61 psi. Engine running pressure should decrease 3-10 psi.
The 4.3L, 60 to 66 psi. The 2.2L, 41 to 47 psi.
2.2L engine, 41 to 47 psi. 4.3L engine, 60 to 66 psi.

Advertised engine oil pressure is: 1000 RPMs----6 LBS or more 2000 RPMs-----18 LBS. are higher
passengers side about a foot down between firewall and engine!! it has an "L" on the cap.
The oil pressure switch on a 4.3 engine is located on top of engine block, way in back next to the firewall, under the distributor. I would remove the distributor to gain access to it..
Low pressure connector is at the front of engine below front exhaust manifold behind the electric fan for the rad....
