This question is not complete, so I will elaborate to the best of my ability. Windows XP by default is located in C:\WINDOWS and Windows 2000 by default is located in C:\WINNT

I can not specify a filename, because I don't know what filename you are looking for. Please be more specific.

C:\pagefile.sys
Virtual memory uses hard drive space as memory to increase the totoal amount of memory available. In windows 2000/xp virtual memory is stored in C:\pagefile.sys. The normal path to get to virtual memory is Mycomputer\right click and select properties\advanced tab\ performace opition\advanced tab\change
