I have a 97 olds aurora. It gets 19-23 mpg on a good day, but depending how you drive it can get as low as 16 mpg average.
Most likely it is either 185 or 195 degrees Fahrenheit. This may vary with engine options.

I was told that is on the engine block but I don't know the exact location. i have 98 4.0. i found the sensor on the lower front of the radiator. face your aurora kneel right in front of car and look on lower area of radiator.
I got 13 years service from an original equipment battery in my 97.
check inside the glove box. there should be a trunk overide switch. turn it to the on position.
ck for vac.leak or bad iac valve
check the fuses.
