How do you change the wiper control module on a 2006 Ford Focus
The rear window wiper fuse can be found in the fuse box. The fuse box is in the engine compartment. The location of the fuse can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box.
Rear wiper fuse is #43 in the passenger compartment, to the left of the steering wheel by your left knee, below the instrument panel. It is BLUE.
Push the wiper stalk towards the dash.
hola wat up yo
Well on the wiper arm at the base there is a cover that hides a bolt, check make sure its tight, also the splines are in good condition.
I do not see a rear wiper blade listed for a 2008 Ford Focus. If there is one on there, it must be a special Ford-only wiper (which is rare for Ford - they normally go with universal wipers). I do see that 2000-2007 Ford Focus has a rear wiper listed for both the hatchback and wagon. So, possibly you have the year wrong? If so, the wiper blade videos for hook-end wiper arms will show you how to change the rear (as well as front) wiper blades.
I believe its right under a cover on the wiper motor. Theres like 3 or 4 screws that hold the cover on and after you take the cover off the front of the wiper motor the module should be right there.
I have the same problem, the dealer said that it is the windshield wiper cover, part number 88958136 (AC Delco). The cover has the circuit board mounted in it that controls the wiper motor. I bought on line at quite a savings, however, am trying to find out how to get to the windshield wiper motor to change it.
its the black cover right below the windshield, it covers the wiper motor.
at the base of the wiper the cover can be lifted so you can access the nut and remove the wiper. Once that is off you can remove the base cover to get to the motor.
Take the wiper moter cover off and you'll find it easy to change out.
