I read something about dog fighting: Dog fights normally last an hour, or sometimes, two hours. Dog fights are over when one of the dogs cannot continue, because the dog is either dead or is too injured to move. The injuries these dogs suffer after a fight, often includes shock, broken bones, blood loss, infection, dehydration and exhaustion.In my state, dog fighting was illegalised in the late 1980s. I seen some dog fights during the period were dog fighting was legal and I never have seen fights that went on more that 20 minutes. After that, a fight went on for the records. I never seen a dog dying in a fight or for the concesquences of it. After dog fights were illegalised in my state, I never seen a dog fighting pit nowhere and I dont figure were the press gets its information.
