I have lived and worked both in Tijuana and California. I do not know exactly, but the Tijuana rich are richer than the California rich, and the San Diego poor are much more richer than the Tijuana poor. To answer your question: Minimum wage as about about 6 dollars per day but nobody makes that low. Your average factory worker will make $20 per day. My teacher friends in Tijuana make about $2500 a month (average? may be). Tijuana has a large border croser population (like me). I make $70000 and live on the top 85 percentile of the population.
