DNA is coded with 4 symbols: A (adenosine), C (cytosine), G (guanine) and T (thymine), just like computers are coded in binary (0,1).
In this genetic code, rests the necessary information to synthetize proteins. But he problem here is that DNA is built with blocks called nucleotides and proteins are built with blocks called aminoacids.
So, in traslations rests the step to move from DNA to proteins. Codons are nature's translation of nucleotide to aminoacid. Any combination of 3 given nucleotides, say AGC (an adenine, guanine, cytosine codon) is translated to Seryne, an aminoacid. Every posible combination of 3 nucleotides form a codon, and every codon has an exact translation.
There are only 20 posible aminoacids, hence, some combinations code for the same aminoacid.

In Prokaryotic Cells transcription and translation can occur simultaneously, but transcription happens after a transcription initiation complex has been formed.
It is called the study of transcription
Transcription occurs in the nucleus.

The parol evidence rule is used to prevent parties from presenting evidence of prior or contemporaneous agreements that contradict or vary the terms of a written contract. Its purpose is to promote the finality and integrity of written contracts by ensuring that the terms contained within the written document are considered the complete and final expression of the parties' agreement.
It's called transcription. But transcription is part of a larger process called protein synthesis.
