Most Midas repair centres have a "Promotional" price for pad replacement for "MOST" cars.
Rotors are extra
The "PROMOTIONAL" price is valid but in excess of 70% of cars require additional costly work.
As you did not give make model year and location of the repair facility you will use I can not give an estimated repair cost. The location is critical as the prices change depending on location.
The exact answer depends on how many parts actually need to be replaced. $200 for pads and labor to $600 for pads, rotors (discs) calipers and hardware including labor.
Replacing brake rotors on a Chrysler Pacifica will vary in price depend on the labor cost. The price should be around $150 dollars.
I just replaced mine (DIY) for $89 with tax, so that's without labor.
A brake team will typically give you premium brake pads or fix them, they will machine the rotors, they will grease for non sealed bearing, they will bleed the brake fluid and all of the other labor it takes to fix your brakes.
cost of parts 200.00 labor 125.00 total $325.00
To replace rotors and pads including labor cost you are looking at 600 bucks. axl
Brake pads are usually between $50 and $100 for a set (each axle), depending on quality. and if you really insist on turning your rotors, you are probably going to pay for 4 hours of labor total with pads installed and rotors turned, labor is also between $50 and $100 per hour. There are many variations as far as "brake jobs" go. You might get there and find out you need 4 calipers too... oops! tack on another $400. Do your self a favor and buy new rotors so your brake pedal doesn't pulsate after 10 miles of lead foot driving!
i paid $300 for new pads and 2 new rotors. plus labor
I just had a full brake job done (front and rear pads, plus new front rotors) for my 2004 Honda Pilot, the total for parts and labor was around $600. Labor rate was $85/hr so if you find a cheaper shop it may run you a little less (figure 3 hours of labor).
We replaced mine today for $100 parts. If you go to one of the repair shops it will be $350-$450 depending on the shop. They markup the parts, then charge labor.
Pads about 30.00, Rotors anywhere from 85.00-125 ea. turn rotors-40.00 (approx) + labor.
Auto Zone will generally keep in stock brakes, rotors and drums for most American made vehicles. Brake shoes purchased at Auto Zone are also guaranteed for as long as you own your vehicle. Establishments such as Brake check will install shoes, drums, and rotors that you have purchased and brought to them. I would get several quotes to assure you are not being price gouged on labor.
