Replace the fuel pump relay first. If that does not solve the problem then more than likely the fuel pump if failing and will need replacing.
the fuel injectors sensors are turned off by the anti-theft device ? my 99 blazer did this and had to reset the device.. turn key on and to the start position leave on for 10 minutes , then try to start it , if it doesn't start just repeat this .. one mechanic says it had to be done 3 three times in a row. in order to fix the problem.. i learned this, only after replacing a working fuel pump .......... who knew! the fuel injectors sensors are turned off by the anti-theft device ? my 99 blazer did this and had to reset the device.. turn key on and to the start position leave on for 10 minutes , then try to start it , if it doesn't start just repeat this .. one mechanic says it had to be done 3 three times in a row. in order to fix the problem.. i learned this, only after replacing a working fuel pump .......... who knew!
