i have a different make and model of truck, but had the same problem after jump starting mine after the dome light discharged the battery. I found in the Haynes manual that the ECM on the fuel injection might have gotten an error message causing this problem. After charging the battery, I simply had to disconnect the negative battery terminal for 20 seconds or so to clear the ECM and the problem went away. Alternatively in my truck, it could take up to 50 starts for the engine to clear itself, I refused to wait that long. Hope this helps, good luck.

Hello, Hopefully this will help. If you push start your car and it starts and keeps running then the battery is the problem. The alternator is providing power once you acutally get your Camry started. As far as the lights flickering if it doesn't stop after you get a new battery then you probably have a open in the ligting system. While the problem is happening (the flickering lights) take a set of jumper cables while car is idling, take the black clamp from the alternator frame to the battery negative post. If the flickering stops, bad ground. If it still continues, take the red jumper and connect to positive terminal on battery, then connect to out-put terminal on alternator. If the flickering stops then you have a bad power wire in the system. If your car has a PCM regulated Alternator then you may have a problem with the PCM.

I think you mean jump start, but here is how: You need 1 car that works and jumper cables (can be found at local auto parts store) Open both hoods and locate the batteries on both cars and on each battery there is a positive terminal and a negative terminal Turn on the car that starts and position it so the battery is close to the battery of the car that needs the "jump" On the battery there are 2 terminals (where the electric comes from). The positive has a + and the negative has a -, connect the red clamp (on jumper cable) to the + and the black clamp to the - (some cars have a red plastic cover you must remove on the positive (+) terminal) Whatever you do DO NOT allow the other ends of the cables to toutch, a dangerous situation and/or damage to car may result Now connect the red clamp on the other end to the positive+ terminal and the black clamp to the negative - terminal. POSITIVE CONNECTS TO POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE CONNECTS TO NEGATIVE Try starting car. Tip: if car still does not have enough power to start you can try cleaning the battery post and/or digging the jumper cable clamps into them for a better connection

Your battery is being drained by a short to ground ,SOMEWHERE. Easiest way to find this out for sure , without a test meter, is to disconnect the Positive battery terminal when you shut down engine. Then see if it starts the next day.

Does you car starts??? if no that means your battery doesnt have enough adequate power...there are 2 things... your battery maybe damaged or your alternator is damaged causing not charging up the battery..but if your car starts..try to reset your computer by unplugging the negative battery then turn the ignition on for 20 seconds then plug the negative battery back..now check if you still have the battery lights on..cheers..
