Saying that morality comes from God leads to the Eurythro dilemma. If goodness is defined by what God says is good, then is goodness merely what God deems as good? Isn't it then possible that God could just have easily have made torture morally acceptable and giving money to the poor a horrible sin? And if goodness exists outside of God, then God can't be truly omnipotent.
